Sew Whatever Studio - 155 Lincoln Place Court Belleville IL 62221
January 20 & 21 2024
10 AM - 4 PM (Building will be closing for the last participant by 5:45)
This is a TWO DAY Workshop!
The first day we will get our fabric cut and talk about the options for making the bag - how do you want to customize it, create it? We will answer questions about interfacing, structure options etc. If we have time we can start to sew independently.
The second day we will sew and finish our bags with instructions shown on our large TV in the classroom as well as verbal instructions. I will be there every step of the way to help you in creating a perfect “beginner to industrials” bag!
Some basic sewing knowledge is REQUIRED. I will not be here to teach you to completely sew but I will be there to go over industrial machine basics, etc.
You do NOT need to know how to use an industrial for this workshop. We will be here to help!
You will be responsible for bringing the fabrics you would like to use for your bag. We will offer some suggestions but these would be an additional fee.
Please bring your preferred sewing notions & tools. Have a favorite pair of scissors or rotary cutter? Please bring it! You will have your very own cutting table station while you cut out your bag.
