This punch is strong enough to go through about 4 layers of average thickness vinyl. Please make sure to only turn the Rotary Dies in the direction indicated by the arrow or it will damage the Punch.

The disc's included can be used on the base of the punch as a padding, but are not needed.

The punch edge may require sharpening before the first use and periodically with frequent use. We suggest using a hole punch sharpener, such as the one provided in the link below. Alternatively, these sharpeners may be found at local crafts or hardware stores.

Does not work for me.

Can’t get these to punch a whole in anything. I was so excited to ge these. I’m going to try the tip from the other reviewer suggesting to use sandpaper to get it to go the to make rivet wholes. I do want to state that I’m using it on the the Luxe Vinyl purchased on this site making the Aries Handbag and it will not go through through to make the rivet wholes needed. I’ll keep trying. Thanks for the tip.

Not only functionable, but so Damn Cute!!

Ordered two sets of these, because I am always loosing mine on top of the work table, they are so dang cute, I tested them on cotton, cork, vinyl and thick leather and it punches all the way through. If you get an issue that it is not punching all the way through, take a piece of 220 grit sandpaper and roll it up and go in and out of the whole a few time, sharp at a tack. You will not be disapointed, and the rainbow coloring with rubber glitter grips are so awesome
