Hey, it's Brittany from the Empurrium! I am excited to combine my love for sewing, teaching and cats! This bag has a unique shape and fun construction! It is purr-fect for cat lovers, but you do not have to make it into a cat!

For this class, you get first access to the Gabriella Handbag! The Gabriella is named after my heart cat, Gabby. She is the ins-purr-ation for my business and the reason I am a proud "crazy cat lady." 

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

In this workshop you will be cutting out and sewing "The Gabriella Handbag." This bag, much like cats, is adorable and full of surprises. The flap is a zipper pocket that extends all the way down the back of the bag and creates a hidden slip pocket. The main compartment also has a zipper pocket inside. It has optional cat ears, face and tail! You can leave these features off and still have an adorable and unique crossbody/handbag. 

There may even be a fun surprise purr-oject <3

 SKILLS REQUIRED:

Some basic sewing knowledge is REQUIRED.  I will not be here to teach you to completely sew but I will be there to go over industrial machine basics, etc. 

You do NOT need to know how to use an industrial for this workshop. We will be here to help! 

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Your materials for this class are included, down to the hardware! We know it's getting close to the meow-lidays, so our gift to you is not needing to bring extra stuff.

WHAT WE OFFER WITHIN THE CLASSROOM:

We provide the machines, a wide variety of thread choices, needles, clips, rulers, thread snips, lighters, screw drivers, glue, duct tape, DST, hole punches, rivet presses, ironing station, heat press station. 

We plan to provide a catered lunch on both days of the class. If you have dietary needs please let us know in the notes of your ticket or in an email. We want to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible within our space.

We have secured a room block with a rate of $114 a night from Friday-Monday.

The price of the ticket does not include any travel, airfare or rides to and from said locations. These are your responsibility.

OUR GOAL:

Our goal is to provide a stress-free class space to learn bagmaking. We do not want any students to feel rushed or like they weren't able to get their questions answered.
